Lisa Finn specializes in and focuses exclusively on estate planning. She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning topics and enjoys meeting with those who are interested in curating their own estate plan.
Lisa earned her Juris Doctorate at the Florida State College of Law in 2001 and her Master of Laws in Estate Planning at the University of Miami School of Law in 2006. She is a member of the Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Honor Society, Rotary International, and Business Networking International.
Lisa Finn was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Florida International University in 1999. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State College of Law in 2001. Then, motivated by her desire to promote family harmony and prosperity, Lisa returned to school and earned her LL.M (Master of Law) in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006.
Lisa began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County in 2002. Later, she represented the State of Florida again, as Counsel for the Receiver for the Florida Department of Financial Services. Lisa became licensed to practice law in Louisiana in April of 2004.
Lisa is a member of the Florida bar since 2002, and the Louisiana bar since 2004. She has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida since April 2005, and she has been admitted to practice before U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Louisiana since May 2009. She has been a member of Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Honor Society, since 2000.
