Amy Parker Martin

Amy is a Florida native.  She graduated from the University of North Florida in 2007 and worked as an ESL teacher and a paralegal before coming to Tallahassee to study at the Florida State University College of Law.  Amy graduated from FSU Law in 2015 with a J.D. specializing in international law.  Upon graduation, she accepted a Graduate Fellowship at the Child Advocacy Clinic at the FSU Law Public Interest Law Center, where she supervised law students in court, represented juvenile clients, taught classes focused on adoption law, and assisted with special projects, such as the Children in Prison Project and the Health Care Access Project.  During her time at the Child Advocacy Clinic, Amy published a law article discussing consent issues in international surrogacy agreements.

After her fellowship, Amy moved to the Florida Guardian ad Litem Second Judicial Circuit, where she held a grant funded position as Victim Best Interest Attorney.  She represented children in dependency and delinquency court for four years before moving into private practice, where she has developed a specialty she loves—working with families to help them prepare for and manage real life challenges and change.

About Amy

I grew up in a small beach town in central Florida and moved to Tallahassee in 2012 when I began law school at FSU Law.  I met my husband during law school, and we married a year after graduation.  Our daughter was born a year later, and her little brother joined us not too long after.

I enjoy spending time with my family, baking with sourdough, traveling every chance I can, and watching a good historical drama or sci-fi TV show!  I’m a “Trekkie,” and it is my dream to attend Comic-Con at least once.

I have built my legal practice with a strong family-centered focus.  I truly enjoy helping my clients navigate important events, both in their individual and family life, and I’m excited to expand my practice to include real estate and estate planning with Rayboun Winegardner.  I consider planning for the future to be one of the most important things you can do for your family, and I look forward to helping our clients feel secure in their plans we create together.
