Elmer C. Ignacio
Elmer is an experienced litigator and has been lead counsel in both state and federal jury trials and administrative hearings. His areas of practice include various areas of labor and employment law, state and local government law, and civil rights litigation. Elmer also counsels businesses in matters ranging from state and federal labor and employment laws to compliance, he reviews and drafts contracts, and prepares employment handbooks. Elmer has published numerous articles and presented programs throughout the state on various labor and employment law topics.

Elmer received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and the US District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
About Elmer
Prior to joining Rayboun Winegardner, Elmer was a partner at a preeminent statewide labor and employment law firm. He also previously served as an Assistant Attorney General with the State of Florida Office of the Attorney General, Employment Litigation Bureau. Prior to working as an Assistant Attorney General, Elmer had the opportunity to work for the Florida State University College of Law as the Director of the Placement Office. As Director, he assisted both law students and alumni in all aspects of professional development and job placement.

Originally from the Philippines, Elmer is a long-time Tallahassee resident, and his hobbies include tennis and fishing.
